Revlon Colorstay Review

Hi beauties, it's been quite a minute! I have been away for a while, I had to take a break from blogging due to a few major life changes...can you guess what!? I had a baby!! Yes you read right, I had a beautiful baby boy back in September 2014. I've had so much fun learning new things about being a mommy. I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. Can you guess what else I love?
 The 24 hour Revlon Colorstay!

I can't express how much I love this foundation, it's coverage is exactly what I look for in a foundation. When applying the product, it's optional that I use concealer, it's not absolutely necessary and that's defintely a pro for me because during mornings when I'm pressed for time to get ready and I do not have time to apply concealer, it's extremely helpful that I can skip that step. I've found that the formula is very lightweight and even on the hottest of days , it does not leave your face feeling oily or sticky. What an awesome product it is!
Colorstay comes in two formulas, either Normal/Dry skin, or Combination/oily skin. I myself have combination oily skin and usually get very oily in my T-zone.

In regards to how long it lasts, I've applied the product in the early morning and that night my face still appears flawless. Once I've applied my foundation for the day, I do not have to go back and touch up my makeup throughout the day and that's something I look for in a good quality foundation. I've heard a few times that you can't expect to find good quality makeup in the drugstore but I beg to differ. Revlon Colorstay is the prime example of amazing quality at an affordable price.

For reference, I am a NW47 in MAC and in Revlon Colorstay, my shade is Cappucino. I've been on YouTube and from others opinions they have said they have to mix two shades to get their perfect color, luckily for me I have not had to mix. Cappucino was like a dead on for my skin tone.  This foundation has a matte finish, it's not too oily nor is it too dry.

PRODUCT DETS:
$9.99 a bottle
Glass bottle
1oz.
No pump

Cons:
I could go on for days about all of the pros about this foundation, and I honestly love it because it leaves a beautiful matte finish and lots more reasons but of course there is always a few cons with any product. The main issue that I have with this particular product has nothing to do with the formula itself, but the fact that it doesn't come with a pump. It's a little inconvenient especially when you're trying to get ready with very little time, not to mention that you end up using more product than needed.

Overall,  if I had to give it a rating i would give it a 9. The reason for a 9 is because of Revlon not providing the pump, which if definitely an inconvience because I always end up using too much product or have to dump it on the back of my hand.

Have you tried colorstay foundation?? Thoughts??? Do you have to mix two foundations for your perfect match?
xoxo!!
