Color me Warm{OOTD}

♢Color Me Warm♢

I find one of my most favorite neutral/warm colors to be tan. I know it's summertime and that screams bold, vibrant, fun colors without a doubt, but the look I was going for today was a neutral look. I have always loved how tan can be paired with various colors and it gives such a cute and classy appeal. So with that in mind, here's what I came up with.

I decided to pair these nude colored high waisted leggings with this beautiful chiffon batwing blouse that I purchased a little while ago from Rue 21. The blouse features lace detail all the way around the bottom edges of it and beautiful floral embroidery at the top; that throws in a hint of brown and pink. This is one of my most favorite blouses in my closet because it is so chic!
The tea rose colored sandals are simple sandals with a buckle that I decided would pair perfectly with this outfit to allow the pink in the blouse to pOp!

Bumblebee inspired OOTD

                               Buzz Buzz
Today's look is going to be a simple, yet chic and comfy look. These are the looks I tend to go for on days like today, where here in Florida it was very hot and humid. When picking out my clothes for the day, I figured I wanted to be comfy and cute so I styled a pair of plain black leggings with this thin yellow tank top. Who doesn't like to be comfy right?
Can you spot baby bee? :)

Now, while the tank top and leggings are basic staples, I personally believe the shoes is what set the entire outfit, and made it stand out.
I absolutely love black and yellow paired together!

The boots are a Fashion Trend, they are fashionable rubbery rain boots also known as galoshes. Now before these babies became a trend you could not pay me to wear rain boots, but the very moment I saw them they became an immediate must have! They are sure to make a fashion statement,I love them because they are just so comfy and come in a wide array of colors including transparent with color soles.

These boots were purchased at a local beauty supply for $19.99

Creme Of Nature Argan Oil Perfect Edges (Edge Control Review)

Hello, Hello, Hello my fellow beauties

I am doing a review on one of my favorite items on the market today....can you guess what that is...? Its Creme of Nature Argan Oil edge control. Now this stuff may come in a small 2.25oz jar but when I say it's amazing, it's Ah-mazing!!!

The consistency is thick enough to hold down those fiesty edges, but not thick enough to weigh your hair down. When you have hair like mine, that is thick and almost untameable not just any old product will work for your hair.

My Natural Hair Story
I decided to go natural about 2 years ago, I gave up on getting relaxers and even adding heat to my hair to straighten it. It has been one heck of a ride being that I had no clue what I was getting myself into when I decided to leave all of the hair aid alone. I have used a number of products and very often was it more of me wasting my money, because they could not stand up to my 4C coarse textured hair. There were also times I would become so frustrated because different people would recommend me products to use but they still wouldn't work. Finally after months and months of buying products and testing them on my hair I decided I would learn some natural care remedies such as twist outs to help with preventing tangling to help with my problem and so far it has been working well.

So back to the review...

As I was mentioning, this edge control was not only designed for people such as myself with those stubborn edges, it also gives your hair a wonderful shine from the oil that is infused within the edge control and to top it off the smell is incredible!

Cons: There is only one thing I do not like about this product and that is the build up it leaves if you put too much on your hair, it gives your hair a sticky, oily look but that's nothing a little shampoo can't fix

Creme of Nature Compared to other brands

I've only tried the olive oil edge control, which is also a good product. but it has a thinner consistency that does nothing for my hair but give it a beautiful gloss. I prefer the Argan Oil brand more than the olive oil as it has a much better hold in regards to my hair staying in place.

Do you use this product? What do you think about it?

Thanks for dropping by..Xoxo!!

So Chic Home Decor

Hi lovelies
Today's post is about Home Decor. As we all know decorations and design can bring life to an old boring room. Isn't it amazing how just adding a few pictures to a wall,a new paint color on the wall, a beautiful vase filled with a bouquet of flowers on a side table and a lit candle can just change the atmosphere of the entire room? Its possible!

Lately I have fallen in love with the oh so fabolous color purple it just gives me bursts of joy to wake up to such a beautiful color. My room is what I would call "dipped in purple."  Want to see how I sleep every night? Take a look!

This comforter set is not only cute and girly but very vibrant! I can never get enough of the floral pattern and take a peek at the purple and white curtains added just to give it a spark!

New Goodies! (Mini Fragrance Haul)

              *New Bath&BodyWorks Goodies*
Hiii Beautiiii's,
This post is going to be short, sweet and simple.I wanted to come and share with you all my newest addition to my fragrance family from Bath and Body Works.
Recently BBW ran another one of their awesome sales and guess who had to take apart in it? Yes, this girl right here! This sale was no ordinary sale though, let me explain. It was about 4p.m in the middle of the day and just randomly Bath and Body Works just decides to put all of of their Spring Fragrances and body lotions on sale for $5 each. Yes, thats right $5 each! but the only thing was that it was an ONLINE only and it ended at MIDNIGHT. No biggie right? I was at work and I had left my bank card at home. I was so unprepared! I got off of work at 11p.m and rushed home all so that I could take advantage of this sale. I am such a junkie right!?

From Left to Right:
Morocco Orchid &Pink Amber
A floral scented fragrance mist, inspired by one of the three countries featured in the new  signature collection Bath& Body mists.

French Lavender and Honey
I consider this fragrance to be very soft and relaxing. If you are having a hard time sleeping or just need to relax after a long day, take a nice long bath and spritz this all over you afterwards and you will certainly relax.

London Tulips and Raspberry Tea
This fragrance is a floral scented fragrance as well, I absoulutely love how it smells. London Tulips is more of a sweet smelling fragrance that easily grasps you and awakens you wholeheartedly.

Tokyo Lotus and Apple Blossom
My most favorite fragrance of them all is this particular one! Its hard to explain what you feel when you spray this wonderful fragrance all over yourself, its so vibrant is unbelievable how much joy you feel with just one simple spray. This is definitely a fragrance every diva should own.

I also purchased two of the triple hand creams but these were bought in store for $6.25 each.

Trendy & Tribal

Hi Fashionistas!
Today's look was inspired by this beautiful midi dress that I recently purchased. This dress was purchased at Rainbow for $7, it was on clearance and everyone knows that I love steals!

I considered this dress to be tribal due to the patterns and beautiful array of warm colors found in this piece. The sleeves are mid length and the dress is perfect for the hot day that we are having here today in Florida, its thin enough to feel a breeze but not too thin to be sheer and see through.
I paired this dress with a pair of black bow-tie flats and found that they went pretty well together. All in all this look was created for me to be comfy and that I was from sunrise to sunset!

Hair:
My hair is in mid sized twists so I decided to pull it up into a very high messy bun at the top and leave the back down. I was complimented on how well it suited the dress.

On to the fun stuff.....Makeup!!
Using my BH Cosmetics Pallete I created a reddish gold eye inspired by a few of the colors found in this dress. Oh how much fun it is to be able to be so creative when dealing with fashion and makeup!
Here's a closeup on the eye:
